who we are

WHO WE ARE

WHCYBSL encompasses the beauty of youth baseball and softball, and promotes sportsmanship, teamwork and learning.  Tens of thousands of young athletes have passed through our program over the years, and hundreds more are added each year.  Many of our players went on to play baseball or softball in high school, and some even played at the college level.  After their school years were over, some of our players continued to support the sport by becoming coaches or umpires, and a few even became board members.  

Our athletes have grown up to become outstanding members in the community.  Several of them went on to start successful businesses. Most recently, many players on the Glenelg Baseball 2022 State Championship team got their start in Tee Ball at WHCYBSL.  

Youth sports at WHCYBSL provides opportunities to experience life lessons on the ball field, where players can hone their talents and learn essential life skills such as teamwork, the value of listening to coaches and the courage to try again when they fail.
